The elderly woman who shook my hand

I`ve decided to start writing about a single moment in my day for which I`m grateful for… it`ll be beneficial for several reasons: it`ll give me blog material (always a plus!), it`ll help me be less negative and less of a hater, and it will hopefully inspire some of you to do the same and be grateful for the little things (or the big things, depends on how much you pay attention).

One moment that I´m grateful for today: the elderly woman who shook my hand today. I know it was part of a church ritual (I was there for an assignment), but given how uncomfortable I get inside Catholic churches, a couple of smiles from her and a hand shake made it all worth it.

Now, a photo that I`m also grateful for taking:

yesterday, in the back of a pickup truck, at Agua Escondida, San Antonio Palopó, Sololá (Guatemala).
